The inside was a little rough. The family was all on board of gutting the inside and remodeling it while we can still camp in the other one. :D

Has anyone deleted the vent pipe that goes behind the shower??? It doesn't look like it vents the shower, just the tank... Will the two other vents be enough for the tank? Please let me know if anyone has done this. If it would work, it would be one less hole in the floor and roof. Major bonus. And give me room to build a pocket shelf between the shower and outside wall.

Floor has been all painted in the cockpit. Painted the backside of the plywood and put it back in. Sealed the edges with foam and construction adhesive. Filled gaps, etc. and put new carpet in.

I started a thread in "Glass and Gaskets" about information for gaskets for the crank out vents in the cockpit. I need to find the gasket for one. If anyone has any info please post it. I don't want my new carpet to get wet! :D

A little background on the new coach. Turns out it was only 35 miles from our house. The guy we bought it from purchased it back in 2004 in New Mexico. According to receipts in the coach he put $2500.00 into repairs shortly after he bought it in NM. He said he took a couple week vacation on his way back to Minnesota. He then parked the rig in a friends barn next to his buddies FMC motorhome. And there they both sat for the last 14 years.... covered barn with a tarp nailed over the opening... Needless to say the mice have had a wonderful place to stay. When we got her home, I parked her next to our barn, which houses a few very hungry barn cats. :D Haven't seen any mice in it now. You guys down south are probably used to seeing rigs this clean but up here in the rusty states its pretty exciting to find a clean one! It is unbelievable how clean the underside is. \n\nI asked his friend about his FMC and he said his buddy was taking the money I gave him for the Travco and going to buy tires for his FMC so they can get it on the road. I sure hope they do get it going. I think it gave them a little spark with me firing up the Travco with a gas can tied to the side of the rig. And me driving it on that same trailer I put the first one on. LOL.

\n\nNewbie here, I was thinking the same thing about the stack but wondered if in removing it you might not end up with the smell, being emitted from the other vents, in the interior.

It appears that it only vents the tank and not the shower drain... I will try to get a closer look at it tonight. I wonder if the other two vents will be enough so it doesn't stink inside?

My wife wanted the shower and sink in the bathroom a bright white color. I had some single stage GM white laying around so I sprayed some on them. I had to move them inside right away because the bugs were coming out!! sorry for the dark pics. Still trying to figure out how to use the wifes camera...
