Re: seats
The base is made of plywood with steel angle to mount to the floor. There is a thin layer of foam padding and the same type of material as on the seats wrapping them. No problem using the picture from Nessie. Nessie is a 76 and those seats are out of a 69 270. I replaced the original couch/bed with those dinette seats and turned the old rear dinette area into a bedroom only. Nessie was 30% gutted when we got her and we are working to set it up the way we like. Hopefully it will look a little like a Scottish Pub when we are finished.

Re: seats
Do you have the seats? I will try to get some measurements for you. I have to pull the seats back out to change the floor covering again. I will take pictures also. The seats are bolted through the plywood with capture nuts.

Re: seats
With out the seats you might want to find seats locally and build the boxes to fit. If you find seats you may find bases with them.

Re: seats
I think I need to build them myself. Have tried to search the market here in Norway but that kind of seats are very very very hard to find.
