Need throttle cable

Unread post by Joanne F » Thu Jan 07, 2016 6:02 pm

I need a throttle cable for a 1975 270. It's the only part left to make this thing certifiable here in Ontario, Canada. I have no idea re part numbers etc. My garage tried a generic one but it wouldn't fit. Anyone out there have one for sale/know where I can get one? joanne.fralick@outlook.com

I think that will have to be a junkyard item. I have not been able to find a source for 74 and later throttle cables.

I would think you could use an aftermarket cable with a little retrofit.\nGo to Summitracing and put "throttle cable" in the search box.

http://www.controlcables.com\n\nControl cables will reproduce your cable. Give them a call. They did my shift cable and it fit perfectly.
