Are you guys using actual temps measured by a thermometer or laser ? I would not trust the factory gauges.

Where would one use the laser/lazer for a true/accurate engine temp?
I have a couple of no contact temp units I use
on trailer tires, rv tires and exhaust pipes on the motorcycles...
Havent tried on the Travco yet.

I have a VDO manual temperature gauge installed on my dash. Before I installed it I checked it against a thermometer in a pot of water on my stove.

My temp is based on a set of autometers I put in.
