Would be nice to see a step by step with photos, and part numbers needed in a conversion from Hydro-Vacs to Hydro-Boost...\nAn earlier comment by me was...don't know how the DOT approved these brake systems to begin with.....payola????\nAny how Aces, waiting on the sidelines for this mission to start!\n5k here for a brake system I do NOT trust.and filled with trepidation on every short drive..like to a gas station..\n(1974 Hydro-Vac System totally rebuilt and still not worth a shxxt!)\nBBB

BTW Napa could not get the correct one but ORielly said they can get the 518055 . I just ordered the same ones I used last time but from NAPA. Only difference is the back cover mount.

FWIW... I had a NIB spare reman hydro-vac for my previous Travco from years agoi. When the brakes were being done on my 74 which is my current ride, that NIB unit was over 10 years old. was installed and was no good. The diaphrams were dry rotted, the hydraulic bores rusted and the cups were destroyed... The "mechanic" claims he got re-pops from TN?... Never saw any numbers or paperwork for his services... Maybe Rock Auto hydro's were just on the shelf too long as the same story for my master cylinder from Alretta... that was also ng!! my next/last mc came from orielly at a cost reduction of over $175.00.\nand is currently working...\njust my $.02 worth...\nBBB
