size of bleeder bolts on '71 270 Mahal?

Unread post by Zed » Sat Aug 20, 2016 3:41 pm

I want to order Russel speed bleeders as a first step towards sorting out my Travco's brake problems. Bleeding the system may be all it needs as I haven't found any obvious wheel cylinder failures and the brakes mostly feel mushy and don't engage until the pedal is almost to the floor. \n\nAnyways does anyone know off hand whether the travco takes the 5/16ths or the 3/8ths sized bleeder valves? Thanks.

I don't remember but I would pull a wheel(I know it sucks on full floaters) and look at the wheel cyls. If it has been sitting, they are probably bad.
