part number for replacement rim stud?

Unread post by davidsquaredson » Sat Aug 27, 2016 10:05 am

Hi, I need to replace one stud from the drivers side front wheel, so reverse thread. Its off a '73 270. I dont have the stud with me otherwise I would hit a truck parts store and just show it to them. It would save me about 3 hours of driving out to where my coach is stored if someone could tell me a part number or reference. \n\nThanks in advance\nDavid

I had found a link using google about a year ago. I can't remember where it was but they had the studs and nuts inner and outer for the rear, Front left and right handed thread. If I can find it again I will post it here.

If you cant find LH threaded stud, I would just swap them all over to RH thread.

They are common. Any heavy truck parts place like Fleetpride can match up your old ones.

I need to know the stud size (collar) to see if they will fit the rear brake drums before I commit to $$$$ for these drums ??
