OBD1 for 1994

Unread post by adrian.krygowski » Tue Oct 02, 2018 11:35 am

Hey all\n\nGot a 1994 ChevyG20 Travco Family Wagon, with a 8-pin OBD connector. GM is confused what type it is. Does Travco do their own OBD/ALDL? Or is it a special-era OBD1.5 or something wacky?\n\nThanks!\n\n

never heard of a travco built in '94 let alone on a gm chassis. I know the explorer's (built by a frank family member across from the travco factory) were made long after travco's but not with the travco name and as far as I know only on dodge chassis but, hey, you never know ! I did have a simlar problem with my sportmobile on a '94 dodge chassis. the garage said it was an oddball system but he dug out a computer from back then and was able to hook it up. good luck on that one
