Does anyone have a procedure for removing the Onan from the cubby-hole on the passenger's side underneath the bed of the 1974 or there abouts 270?
I have the original TRAVCO owner'smanual and a M300 through RM400 Dodge Motor Home Chassis manual. But nothing really gives me a good ideal how to get the genpac out.
Best guess process so far is to remove the door, and saw out the lower body panel to slide the genpac out.
HELP PLEASE

It's not just bolted to the floor plate? I haven't taken mine out yet, but it looks like it'll fit through the door if lifted
I was planning on taking mine out with an engine hoist

Re: Onan Gen Pac removal
I have heard of a few people using an engine hoist to remove the Onan. A really short strap is needed and it just fits from the pictures I have seen.
