Mattress options

Unread post by jachord » Sun Feb 05, 2017 9:10 pm

Looking for options that others have come up with for a mattress replacement for rear bed 270. It measures 52x88 which is narrower and longer than a full size. Mine was missing the mattress when I got it.

We got a Mattress from Ikea. It is not long enough to cover the length but being memory foam at 53" wide it fills the width nicely. Custom is another option if you want to fill the whole rear section. Our 76 was originally a rear dinette that used the seat cushions for a mattress.

I had the same question. I did do a Google search for "Custom size foam mattress" and quite a few places came up. I even put in the dimensions on one site, just to see how expensive it was.$120.00 to $190.00 Not out of line anyway. Hope that helps.

You ever figure this out? We used a futon mattress that we found at Big Lots for $99.

\nYes sir, I'm still around, just not as often. \nWe now have a lifted popup that we can pull down the beach with our 4x4 truck. We are planning on going fulltime in a 5er toyhauler in another year or so.

We also use a futon mattress. Cheap but works fine.
