Window Moulding repair

Unread post by Acesneights » Mon Apr 15, 2013 10:15 pm

They pretty much crack in all of them. I have tried many fixes over the years without much success but this stuff I bought to patch the Holding tank called Plastimend seemed to work really good. i is very slow drying but so far so good.\n http://plasti-mend.com/

With the cracks rejoined, will it still fit? I've found that plastic (or rubber) shrinks over time. I've repaired similar in the past on old vehicles, only to find it didn't fit anymore... necessitating small filler patches.

Did not change the dimensions at all. A little hard to smooth the stuff out. I would recommended doing only the back side. The stuff does not shape like Bondo. It worked good on the moldings...Holding tank..not so good.
