Oh ok... so a 290 has the 320 body style with the square wheel wells but overall is shorter? I never knew they existed... cool.

It's a 290. I am the owner that Robb spoke about. Its a 1977 w/M500 chassis and 440 motor. The 290's really do exist. You need to add a Travco 290 forum section! I will post some pics later.\n--Ed.

Deffinately said 290 on the front under the window, spelled out two ninety in script like the two + two etc. By the way what does the two+two represent, that 270 we like had that on the front. Robb
