Next chance I get Lou. Either tonight or tomorrow night. To all other parties interested in parts, I will be parting the RV out this spring unless a reasonable offer comes in for the whole package. I will contact everyone that has asked about parts in the spring. It is much too cold here now to dredge through 2-3' of snow for parts\n\nThanks

Look on the tag for the Onan. If it says 1rXXXX it is 110 only. If it says 3RXXXXX It is 110/220. It is probably 110/220. All the factory 6.0s I have seen in the 270's were. That would make a hell of a backup Genny for the house. The 270 is ,most likely a late year 1973. That was the split year where they changed to the lower headlights.

Bbb,\nI am and have been attempting to acquire a legal title to the RV as an abandoned vehicle but apparently under Michigan law I cannot stake ownership (even though the previous owners left it behind when I bought the home it is sitting at). If i file it as an abandoned vehicle then it must be towed to an impound lot and fees are charged to the owner. I happen to know that the title holder of the vehicle is deceased and has been for several years. I have one more avenue to try on Monday and am hopeful but time will tell.\nI am most interested in having the whole vehicle purchased (even if it means at a lower sale price) than parting it out but I will do whatever it takes.\nThe RV is not in "driveable" condition as it is not running. Apparently someone tried to get it running a few years ago but to no availbut and I have other priorities. The vehicle was driven to the property 10 years ago and has been sitting since. I doubt there is serious issues but I would definitely not say it is driveable under its own power without serious repair.\n\nThere is a crack in the windshield but otherwise all is good. Engine is not running but I assume it is a carburetor issue and it could with some tuning, clean gas, oil, a battery and maybe a squirt of ether/starting fluid. \n\nThe genset is a 6.0cckb \nspec no 3r/12000d;\nserial 0473629326.\n\nI apologize for any spelling/grammar errors. I am writing this from my phone and it likes to autocorrect itself into an error.\n\nI haven't been overly active with the RV as we have had one of the harshest winters on record and dredging through 3'+ of snow in subzero temps to take pictures of something that won't be touched til spring just doesn't appeal to me :) Today is the first time in 3 months I have even seen grass.\n\nThanks\nJeff\nIf you want to call you can pm me for my number, I am not posting it here.

That Onan is 120/240. \nAny travco that has sat that long will need to be towed. In fact you may need to spend time making sure it's even safe to tow. The wheels may be locked up.\nA title may not be needed. It depends on the purchasers home state. IN CT >73 only needs a bill of sale.

Ok guys. Ive pretty much given up on the title acquisition. Michigan has some very monarchist policies. Apparently what is on my land is not considered mine, the state would rather tow it from my property, send it to auction and bill the title holder for the towing bill. Unless they can make their fair share from it, I cant get the title.\n\nIts time to start salvaging the good from it. I am not looking to get rich off this thing so make me a fair offer, be here to take it unless it is a small item that can be easily shipped (I am not doing freight shipments, sorry) and bring cash.\n\nI am giving the Travcoforum members first dibs. Anything left after May 15th will be going on Ebay and/or Craigslist\n\nIf there is something you want, PM or text/call (8IO-444-858I). I am going to do my best to go through the list of items people have requested and PM them. I apologize if I miss anyone.\n\nFor anyone looking to map it out, I am just east of Clio, MI (5 miles east of I-75)\n\nJeff

Too bad you don't know someone in another state. Most states just require a bill of sale on something that old. You could register it in another state and then transfer it. Even the People's Republic of Konnecticut doesn't title that old. Just a bill of sale.
