Family wants me to get rid of this 1972 Dodge Travco 270. I’m not sure what it’s worth as it sits now.
It ran great with no issues when it was parked here 15 years ago...Obviously it will need work to get back in shape and to be gone through before just firing it up. Not sure on the engine size but it has a Kohler power plant generator. we got all the paper work for it, at this point I just need it gone. If it’s not worth anything, I’m willing to just part with it. I know it always comes down to what someone else is willing to pay for it. But at this point I just want it out and hopefully see it go to someone who wants it. It’s located in ventura county In California.
Happy Memorial Day everyone!

Re: 1972 Travco 270 worth anything?
A 72 could be a 318 or a 413 for the engine. 318 would have the distributor at the rear of the engine and the 413 would have it on the right front. It is worth what someone will pay for it but sitting for so long and not running does not help the value. I am sure there are quite a few people that might be interested as you get it out there. Facebook has a dodge travco lovers page that has people looking for them all the time.

Thanks for the input! I agree that it sitting doesn’t help the condition of it at all. I will check the Facebook page and see if anyone wants it. At this point I just need it gone as long as they can take it away they can have it.
I looked at the motor and it’s the 5.2 318, I’m assuming that’s not a very desirable motor compared to the 440 or the 413? Travco has 65,000 on it.

The 318 works just fine just not the best for going over mountains. The 413 has an easier time moving the rig. 318 was the base engine. I am sure someone would want it.
