New travco guy in ohio
Hello everyone my name is Jim. and I'm helping a good friend of mine restore his 1968 Travco Motorhome, I see there are a lot of problems with the gas tank issues on these motorhomes. I have 5 30 gallon gas tanks if you remove the undercarriage spare tire carrier they will fit right in place I will try to post a picture if I'm able to of the gas tanks that I have at least 1 I'm installing on the 68 hopefully I can find parts that I need to from the forum or other sources thanks Jim

\nFeel free to start a thread about your gas tank repairs/solutions.\nThere is a pretty good base of regulars here. I usually check in at least once a day but I tend to be absent on the weekends because I am either out riding motorcycles or road tripping the Travco. Glad you found us!WJS1966 wrote:Thanks for the welcome I was beginning to think that this was another one of those Motorhome sites that nobody was ever around good to see that somebody's here I have my new gas tank mocked up in place to see how it fits perfect fit will post new pictures when I get home Jim

My tank is on the side outside the frame rails. (bathroom's in the back). I would love to relocate mine inside the frame rails but it will be a custom build.\n\nRobC\n\nWelcome!
