Sealing cracked window gaskets

Unread post by dirtydeno » Mon Dec 14, 2020 8:57 am

Hi everyone, Its time to stop my many leaks. All of my windows have cracked rubber and leak. I'm not really looking to replace all of my gaskets yet and i just want to use a sealant to get me by for right now. Any recommendations on what to use? I was thinking 3M Auto Glass Urethane Windshield Adhesive to fill the cracks. Also I'm going to seal the roof seam and thinking of using Nuflex 311. Any recommendations would help. Thanks.

I used the 3m windshield adhesive this weekend on the seals and it worked great. I had some pretty large gaps in the seals, about 1 inch. I taped off the inside and filled them from the outside. Its water tight again.
