Awnings...
Is the canvas very expensive or worth replacing or the better option is to just remove the whole assembly and off it?\nThe offending item is a A&E unit on a 270.. All like new except aging canvas...\nBBB

Re: Awnings...
Last time I looked, eBay had replacement awning material with instructions for 200 bux. Not too bad considering. I would LOVE to have an awning on my 270..

I love my awning and would definitely replace the material if needed. I don't think it's a very hard job but you will need an extra pair of hands. Don't throw away the hardware if you do decide to take it off.

Re: Awnings...
I took mine off to complete the gel-coat rehab and also looked at new fabric. Zip Dee has whatever you need but I remember it being kinda steep for new canvas. We have an RV salvage place down here that has all kinds of awning/material but If I do it I am going new. It a big piece of material and if it's ratty looking it will detract from the overall sweetness of my rig....\n\nMy awning parts are in pretty good shape but a few broken fittings and what not. Zip Dee has all the replacement parts as well.\n\nhttp://www.awningsbyzipdee.com/68901.html

Re: Awnings...
I would love an awning for mine. I have been hunting around for them on craigslist but they are all for straight side RV’s/trailers. \n\nIs there a parts list or specific model/type we need for Travco’s? \n\nSeems like the curved arm setups for Airstreams would work, but it would be nice to know what to look for incase I find one that is remotely in my price range…

Nessie has an older Zip Dee on it. I am going to need a couple parts in the next few years as the arms have some wear on them.
