270 Dry Weight ?

Unread post by 42itus » Thu Nov 10, 2016 2:00 pm

Does anyone have a spec . chart of the capacities for a 270? Specifically the vehicle weight. My friend is going to register the 1971 Rectrans but the DMV needs the vehicle weight, not towing capacity. Their records do not go back this far so we are hoping someone here can assist. Regards, 42ITUS in SW Michigan. If possible, some type of factory chart or owners manual screenshot.

I will go look at the VIN data plate for any information. Regards, 42itus.

It would depend on what chassis it is on. It could be anywhere from 10 to 14,000 lbs GVW.

The Rectrans is on the M-300 chassis and I did get some information off of the VIN plate. Regards, 42itus.
