1963 Dodge motor home free for the hauling away

Unread post by dmartin10 » Mon Apr 21, 2014 2:42 pm

In La Habra Heights, CA is a 1963 Dodge that is languishing and waiting for a rescue. It was redone in the 80's or so but has been sitting, unused and neglected for a couple of decades or so. We cannot find anyone who will take it for scrap and would like to have it hauled away. Please contact me at dickmartin10@gmail.com if you have any interest. If you haul it away, it is yours!

Oh, I see...Texas. The haul would be pretty expensive.

To anyone interested,Check with some of the shippers on Govt Liquidation. I have seen 5 tons moved for around 1,000$ .

Have you put it on craigslist?\nI can't believe no one out on the west coast hasn't snatched it up! I know a lot of RV people search CL looking for deals... especially old collectables for the parts, etc.\nIt would be such a shame for that antique Travco to be scrapped and recycled... if it could only talk.

I have tried Craig's list with zero response. Will try again. Getting rid of an old mh is a real problem.

It is now posted on Los Angeles and Orange County Craig's List. Let's see if there are any takers. If not, off to the scrappers it goes.

Thanks for the Craig's List suggestion. The motor home is GONE!!!! It will be reworked and used for housing homeless people. Such a relief!
