Unread post by Jessecommonman » Fri Sep 23, 2016 10:20 pm

Hello ! One of the blower motors has gone out on my 1969 travco I guess it a Coleman unit . Can someone give me any info on the type of motor and where to purchase one . There are no numbers anywhere I know it's a 2 speed 115 volt .

Probably obsolete. Could try matching it up to a newer one. I would change the whole unit. You might be throwing good money after bad but otherwise pull the motor and go to an HVAC supplier and see if they can match it up. IIRC They were the same one used in old window units.\nDo you have the owners packet that came with it that has all the manuals for the appliances ? Most of the Older Travcos had 9,000 btu Polar Cubs.\nToo bad my father isn't around anymore. He was a factory authorized service center for Coleman and Dou Therm and Mark IV for Travco.

Try craigslist. You might find someone parting out a Travel Trailer. Might be able to by a whole used A/C unit and swap the whole thing. Or just buy a new one. The new ones draw alot less power which is easier on the Generator.
