I've been using my oven which I don't think was ever used before. I'm having a issue: I light the pilot, turn on the oven and it works fine until it gets to temp and the thermostat turns off the oven. When this happens it also kills the pilot flame too, so I'm stuck having to relight it. Right now to use the oven I have to babysit it and relight ever 15 minutes, not ideal.
Anyone know about a pilot light adjustment valve or anything that can fix this? Thanks.

Re: adjusting oven pilot light?
Sounds like an odd problem. Could the gas pressure regulator be turned up too high? A spike when the main valve kicks off could blow the pilot out? Sort of shooting in the dark. May be a good idea to try and find a manual for the stove. Magic chef was one of the more common units and there is some info to be found.
