Stove vent

Unread post by dirtydeno » Mon Dec 21, 2020 8:06 am

I'm looking for a picture of the dampener inside of the outside stove vent. My 270 is missing the dampener and i would like to build a new one but need a reference. I dont want to replace it with one of the cheap plastic vents. Im not sure if it slides or just flaps open. Thanks

Nessie has a plastic vent on the outside and the damper is a single flap that has small latches to secure it when traveling.

I used one of those on my 73 lark travel trailer but i would like to keep this original metal one. Im going to just take it off and bend up a new flap.
