Wow... sounds like a fire was waiting the background... I may be getting a bit mixed on the gensets. My 4.0, had to be set either for the front or rear but not both unless connected to shore power.. When my 6.0 CCK is powering the air, (front) my (1) flourescent light quits. Air off, light works...HHmmm... might have a problem with mine..., Houston... BTW... I am 110v electrically challenged\nBBB

6.0 (50 amps) is plenty big to power 2 AC's. It is split into two 25 amp circuits (separate winding's in genny). 1 AC should be connected to each circuit in order to properly spread the loads.\n\n4.0 (33 amps) is really to small for 2 AC's. Thats why they have front/back switches so that the genny can run 1 AC while shore power can run the other AC. Likewise, 30 amp shore power should only be used to run 1 AC.
