Re: did 400 miles towing a car behind my Travco

Due to last minute changes, I did a solo trip to the Glen with BD, Roadster & Towd, this is how rig looks. My dinner ready sooner then expected !! Manifold Destiny cook book, cooking on engine while driving good eats.

. This was good in away as I wanted to do a test trip with the full rig for future trips planed. All went well on the 568 mi. round trip, 60--65 mph had a hand full of high or long hills (down to 45mph at crest) MPG shows 10.14 a little down from the mileage with 2BBL carb (now 4BBL/looks to be running a little rich), I towed this unit (car/trailer/flatbed) about 3800 lbs (lighter past tows) 70% major hiway(had time frame) & 30% secondary roads & towns (Stop/Go some steep hills from stop) Did meet up with navigator, manage to pick up a 1ST place in group Road Rallye.

I am thinking white along the bottom instead of the stripe down the middle. Maybe in a light cream color instead of white.

cannot see the "missing"unit...curious about the paint scheme indicated...
Still looking for an idea here as my "celery green" unit was done by PO.
Thinking here is a paint job don't make it go...but might help...
Great indicator of many more Travco miles in your future..

TNX... Found the pic on the !st page...As I had gained some NFO from "someplace" about the "demise" of this repainted unit.
A movie company bought it and it was "wrecked/destroyed in/for the movie... Haven't heard of it arising from that
point forward... FWIW... HTH... Would be nice to see it on the road...
