Cleaning the "Bucky Bus"
Weather cooperated for a few days, so I decided to head over and clean the interior of the Travco. Mind you, it was never filthy, it has just been sitting for quite awhile in covered storage. First round I took all the linens, towels and clothes from the cabinets and closet. Except for the windshield privacy and the rear window curtains, everything else has blinds- so only the curtains got dry cleaned- rear window curtain track was dried out, so need to replace before re-installing the curtains. Vacuumed everything down twice.\nSecond trip out, I brought the steam cleaner. Took carpet/upholstery cleaner and scrubbed the seats, couch and then any stains/marks I saw on the carpet. Then steam cleaned everything that had material on it. Also scrubbed the shower stall, the restroom (aka "The Toilet Hut"), took Murphy's oil soap to the interior wood, polished the sink and fixtures, and did every piece of glass.\n\nWhat made it even more fun is that I won't even start the onboard generator until it is serviced. Not even going to try until the oil, plugs, & filter are changed...so will be getting a new battery as well

Back bedroom configuration- don't know why the last few pictures are not oriented right-side up, my camera rotated them, but it will at least give you an idea of what it looks like. Getting there...

Thanks- this is the first Travco I remember seeing and staying in. Oddly, I can't recall ever seeing another except in pictures or on websites.

Re: Cleaning the "Bucky Bus"
Thanks- from what I understand, the 320's came out and the malaise nature of the economy and the fuel price increase helped keep the 320 sales numbers low.\n\nThen came the Chrysler bail-out and the government telling them to get rid of the big blocks, MD & HD trucks, and let go of the motorhome market...
