Seeking Replacement Storage Compartment Covers

Unread post by simimiller » Sun Jan 08, 2017 12:37 pm

Didn't secure the front passenger side storage compartment cover on our Travco 220. Looking for replacements. Any suggestions?

As Travco had various sized "fibreglass covered" door compartments...width & length wise... \nA few measurements would/could be useful..."Might be able to assist with the correct NFO".\nBBB

Well...I'll tell ya'... After you posted some dims, it encouraged me to wander into my "man cave" and find a couple of doors.\nSeems in the pile I had two that are close to your needs with some provisio's...\nThe correct size has an opening in one end as it was a power cord door, and the other is a few inches longer that could be modded depending upon how desparate you are. These are from a 1976 Mahal I trashed some years back...\nHere are three teaser photos... These are 8 1/2 tall/wide? depending if you are excluding the hinge ??? \nBeing more explicit & exact is the key to the right fitments...\nAnyhow for further NFO... PM me...HTH \nBTW: If Zoom isnt possible, they are 39 and 42 " long\nThey have complete working hinges that are still attatched...Photos tell all!\nBBB

AFAIK the passenger side comp door on the 220's was metal IIRC. Post a pic. I might have one.

I'm still on the hunt, but I've had her in the shop to track down a dead short that I caused. Hopefully I'll be back on this within the next 2 weeks. Thanks for the help.
